BatteryBar 3.3.0 issues
It is interesting to note that:
1. The new BatteryBar v3.3.0 beta failed to install at first because the installer does not check if the old version is currently running and therefore fails to update some of the files. I had to manually close the running version of BatteryBar for the installer to properly finish what it had started. 2. When I installed the new BatteryBar v3.3.0 beta, it informed me that my license was supposedly not valid (!), so I had to manually insert my license key, and this time it was accepted. 3. I cannot see any floating toolbar option in the new version, am I missing something? 4. There were several configuratioin screens in the last beta - where have they gone? |

The installer does check for previous versions and runs the uninstaller, then requires a reboot for the files to be completely replaced. I'm not sure why yours didn't upgrade properly. That's why this is a beta release, I needed more testing of the licensing system. I'll work on the code to make sure it's able to automatically upgrade your license from the old version. Just right click and select Preferences. There should be tabs at the top for each section. Go ahead and attach a screenshot if you see something wrong. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.3.0 issues
Chris,
Thank you for your answers. Please find attached the screenshot of the Preferences window. I also remember there used to be tabs in the previous beta, but I do not see them here. What might be the reason? |

RE: BatteryBar 3.3.0 issues
You appear to be using BB 3.1. Are you sure you clicked on the correct link on the Osiris Development website? (EDIT: There isn't actually one anymore, so you'll need to use the upgrade feature as part of BB).
I'm running 3.3.0 and it's working well, although I did get the licensing error after loading BB the first time. Easy to work around though.

RE: BatteryBar 3.3.0 issues
Yes, that screenshot is from an older version of BatteryBar. There is a link to the beta on the homepage, just below the Download link.
What probably happened is that the new version didn't install properly over the old version. The best thing to do would be to uninstall the current version, reboot, and then install the new one. |
