Force Estimate on HP Not Working
I have an HP G60 laptop running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium. I'm using the free trial of BBPro. HP doesn't report discharge time from their batteries, so I checked the "force estimate" button. The problem is, the only time the estimate is forced is after I hit "save" in the preferences dialog, even when I don't change anything. It then lasts for anywhere between 10-45 seconds, and seems to be fairly accurate. I have discharged and recharged the laptop multiple times, I've been running this for about a week now. Battery wear is also at 0.0%. I'd attach the log but I don't know where to find it right now.
When I don't touch anything, the predictions seem to last for anywhere between 65-75 seconds.

I've uploaded my log file and linked to this forum. Thanks.

RE: Force Estimate on HP Not Working
We received your feedback request, but there wasn't a log file along with it. I think there was an error on our side saving the file for some reason.

Would you mind resubmitting the report?

RE: Force Estimate on HP Not Working
I've been testing the rate estimation and it seems to be working fine for me using version 3.5.4 (which is going to be released momentarily).

Please note that for HP you shouldn't need to enable the "Force" option, as it will always estimate the rate if the battery doesn't report it (which HP batteries do not).
