BatteryBar causes windows explorer stop working
After installin BatteryBar 3.54, when I start my laptop there maybe a chance to wait windows explorer to response, after that got the message said windows explorer stop working then I have to restart the windows explorer. I uninstall the BatteryBar then the issue is gone.
My Computer environment is

RE: BatteryBar causes windows explorer stop working
Thanks for reporting this issue. I have seen this occur but as of yet I haven't been able to locate the cause. Basically the software is entering a race condition of multiple background threads waiting for each other to do the same thing. Because BatteryBar is an explorer plugin (basically), it causes the single-threaded explorer to hang waiting for BatteryBar, which is also hung and not processing window messages.

I'll make some further attempts to troubleshoot this issue.

Ashkan, your signature says you are on 3.5.1. Can you upgrade to 3.5.4 and let me know if it's any better? I did a lot of reworking of the multi-threaded code in 3.5.4 that should work better than older versions.

Batterybar was updated, my signature wasn't. I forgot i kept the version in my sig. I've still got the explorer bug. It's been really kind of bad, well enough to stop using batterybar.

RE: BatteryBar causes windows explorer stop working
Have you been able to deduce under what circumstances it occurs? Have you enabled debug logging to generate a log to see what's happening when it freezes up?
