Error from BB on start of Win7
I have BB Pro v3.3.3 on a HP Pavilion DV3-2160eo with Win 7 x64.
When I boot Win7 I get an error saying : "BatteryBar Floating Toolbar has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution to the problem". No slution is found but BatteryBar seems to work anyway. The message started coming after I uppgraded to v3.3.3. There is also a entry in the logbook about the error. I have saved the error from the logbook and attached it to this posting. BatteryBar_error.zip (Size: 4.83 KB / Downloads: 136)

RE: Error from BB on start of Win7
Do you have both the floating toolbar and taskbar toolbar installed at the same time? The two version cannot run at the same time and that would definitely cause that type of problem.

RE: Error from BB on start of Win7
I too have had problems with the pro version, Windows 7 and a 64 bit machine. I have tried to install (as administrator) and re-install, received no error message but BB never shows on the task bar. The is no BB toolbar listed and I am completely out of ideas. I am using free software which is not as good as BB but at least I can get it to display. If someone has a suggestion I would gladly try it.

RE: Error from BB on start of Win7
So after you install it, when you right-click on the taskbar and go to Toolbars, it doesn't show it there?
If you open Registry Editor and do a search for BatteryBar, do you find anything? There should be an entry in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT that defines BatteryBar as a toolbar. |
