Incorrect mWh reading
This is not a huge deal but, BatteryBar Pro says that my battery is 112,320mWh when my battery is actually 96,768mWh. Since BatteryBar Pro thinks my battery capacity is larger than it is, it says there is a 13.8% wear and my battery is relatively new. I bought it a few months ago and shouldn't have any signs of wear yet. I bought a 3rd party (unsure of exact brand) 12-cell battery for my HP Pavilion dv5 laptop to replace the OEM 6-cell battery. I get close to 3.5 hours on my new battery where my old battery only gave me under an hour. I enjoy getting close to four times longer battery life with my new battery than my old battery.

I am running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise on my HP Pavilion dv5-1015nr if that helps identify the problem.

RE: Incorrect mWh reading
The information shown in BatteryBar is exactly as reported by the battery itself. There's no way to know if it's accurate or not. I have found that a lot of non-OEM batteries misreport a lot of battery information, where it's the capacity or the discharge rate, or other information.

There is a suggestion on the suggestion forum to be able to manually specify the original battery designed capacity so that the wear value would report correctly. You can go to that forum to vote for that feature.

In the meantime, just ignore the wear value, or just realize that it's reporting a value 13% to high. That value is purely informational and doesn't actually do anything.
