Status popup not working...

I support two MSi Wind netbooks where I have installed BatteryBar v3.3.3. A U123 that is mine and a U120 that belongs to a buddy. The status popup works on mine but not the other.

Works on:

MSi U123 with XP Pro SP3, .NET 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1. 9-cell OEM battery. Everything seems to work on this one.

Not working on:

MSi U120 with XP Home SP3, .NET 1.1, 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1. 6-cell OEM battery. The black bar seems to work just fine but the Status popup doesn't popup. I have installed it 3 different times using two separate downloads of the program.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

The obvious reason is that in the Preferences window (Pro or Trial) there's an option to disable the status popup.

Otherwise, you'll need to follow the following steps to generate a debug log and submit it:

Thank you for the quick reply.

You mention the "Preferences window". For the life of me I cannot find how to get to it on my U123. I have double clicked on the bar (it toggles between "A/C" and a percentage or between time and a percentage so no "Preferences window" there.

When I right click on the bar in my U123 (where the status popup works) a window comes up with the following four choices:
About BatteryBar...
Upgrade to BatteryBar Pro...
Activate 30 Day Trial...
Close Toolbar

I can see on the Pro documentation page where the Preferences window is mentioned but it does not appear as a choice on the free version.

My MO with new software is to try the free version first, if one is available, before I spend money; even though your pricing is certainly very reasonable.

I will give the debug log a try on my buddy's U120 when I next get a chance to work on it.

The preferences window is only available in the Pro version or by activating the free Pro trial.

You can try to generate a debug report by following these steps:
