RE: Battery Time 10:42 Full Lifetime 8:41
The Full Lifetime basically means "Based on your battery usage data collected so far, your normal usage pattern suggests that the battery will last 8 hours and 41 minutes from a full charge".

The Time Remaining is based on that same usage data, so it will usually be less than that. However, when you enter periods where your battery is draining faster or slower than your average, BatteryBar adjusts the time remaining based on that difference. In your case, the time remaining estimate was lengthened to reflect the lower power consumption of running idle. As you start to use the battery more, that ratio will adjust and bring the estimate back into line with that level of use.

The ratio is calculated based on the actual time versus estimated time of the battery discharging over the last 6 percentage points. I have thought about how to display that ratio to the user, but I haven't worked it in yet. In a future version I'll look at incorporating that ratio in the display.
