battery wear in new laptop

Hi , I have a 6 months old hp dv4 laptop with win7 preinstalled .Batterybar is showing 6% battery wear. I want to know whether it's normal or some problem is there?

I'm surprised it's not more than that for 6 months. Good batteries will wear at least 50% within 24 months, that's about 2% per month. My battery just went up to 65% wear, so feel lucky!
