RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
When plugged/unplugged it will disappear from the taskbar and then reappear. When displaying time and if "Only show percent remaining when battery is charged" is unchecked, before it disappears it will show A/C then the time when it comes back. If it is checked it will switch to percent before it disappears and change to full green (lenovo theme) then time when it returns. I'm not sure what "Only show percent remaining when battery is charged" actually does. Hover text explaining options would be useful i.e. how vlc does it.

RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
The disappearing will only occur if you have the option "Turn off BatteryBar when battery is fully charged" option turned on. It's not related the "Only show percent" option. That option does one simple thing: When fully charged and on A/C power, it'll show either "A/C" or "100%". That's it.
Some type of help popup may be useful, but I'm not a fan of the ones that popup quickly as they can be pretty annoying. There are some explanations in the online documentation though it hasn't been updated for a while. |

Also I have noticed that I have vlc runningwith always ontop option the automatically close notifications will not close. I have mine set to 5 seconds. VLC is not full screen and dose not touch the notification window when this occurs.

When I turned off the "Turn off BatteryBar when battery is fully charged" option it will still change to a percent shift to full green background (lenovo theme) and then go to blue and time. RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
I'm sorry I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding exactly what you're trying to say. Green means "discharging" and blue means "Charging." If you'd like to change those, you can modify the theme's image files.
One thing you may want to look at is the option alternate the values displayed on the bar. You can set in Display which options you want to display (percent, time, discharge rate, capacity) and you can set to rotate between them automatically or not. If set to automatic, it'll change every 5 seconds or so. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
Hi there
I've noticed an installation problem. I think it started with v3.4.5 but not sure about that. I'm running Windows XP and have BatteryBar installed on my D: drive. When installing v3.4.5 beta and 3.4.5 beta 2, the installation would hang on copying batterybar.dll. Ignoring the error would move on to registering batterybar.dll and, of course, that would fail also. Uninstalling and then a new install would work. Reinstalling on the C: drive seemed to fix the problem as I installed 3.4.5 beta from the disk and then automatically installed beta 2 without any problems. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
I hate to admit that I have tested the installer in a not-default location for quite some time. However, the installer script itself hasn't changed in a while. I didn't make any changes to the installer from 3.4.4 to 3.4.5.
I'll test installing to a non-standard location and see what happens. I am in the process of working on a new installation script to better handle UAC, but that won't be ready for a while. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.4.5 beta
Just bought a 1 year licence (and did not test yet), but the installer is complaining about having errors opening a file for writing:
\themes\Battery\themes.xml , and this is in the installer. Appears perhaps a file is not in the installer? |
