Change the bar width
Hi,

is there a way to change the width of the bar? I have my status bar on the right of the screen, and I would like the battery bar to fill the width of the bar (see screenshot)

RE: Change the bar width
Wow, I can't say I've ever seen a vertical taskbar that wide. Most people with vertical taskbar's what BatteryBar to be NARROWER, not wider. BatteryBar automatically sizes itself to the size needed to fit the displayed information. The width is determined as the maximum width needed to display the "A/C" message, "100%", or "88.8%". You can force the width higher by either setting your percentages to use 4 digits instead of 1, or by editing the language XML file so that "A/C" is actually "___________A/C__________" or something like that (you can use spaces in the XML file, the forum just doesn't do non-breaking spaces).

If you're using English you'll need to make an "en.xml" or "en-US.xml" file with just that one entry in it. You can look at the other translation files as a reference, or look at the documentation page on the website.

RE: Change the bar width
Thx a lot for the help, but that didn't help ^^.
I managed to get the bar wider before (maybe I should have said that Smile), but then it isn't centered anymore:

(I understood what you said about spaces. I just used _ to make my change more visible)

Wide vertical taskbar is awesome - I can see the titles of all 30 windows I have open (on that screen Tongue))

RE: Change the bar width
You'll need to turn off and turn back on the toolbar to get it to reset it's placement. That should fix the centering.

What "other icons" are you referring to? Other themes? All themes can be modified in the same way.

I'm not sure of any off the top of my head, probably because I know how everything works. Basically all the features are available through the UI (such as the Preferences window). The Themes settings are really the only thing I can think of that's not in UI. There's a whole page in the documentation tab on how to create (or edit) a theme.

If you have any specific questions, please post them in a thread and I'll answer them.
