RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I've been running tests installing 3.5.1 and 3.5.2, back and forth and I've never had any problem occur.
I know that it works for some people because I've gotten automated feedback reports from 3.5.2 users. So, in short, despite attempts to reproduce this problem, I haven't been able to do it. I'm continuing testing with the files submitted by users. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I have the same issue. Other bars like Quickstart and one of my own (to a folder on my pc) will also disappear. Windows 7x64, all updates.

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I'm not denying that people are having an issue, but from what my testing I can reproduce it. That leads me to believe that it's probably an application compatibility issue that's causing the issue. Since I haven't been able to reproduce it, it would be very useful for me to be able to log into someone's computer using a remote support tool to investigate it on a PC that's having the issue.
If anyone would like to volunteer for that, please PM or email me. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I made some changes to the installer that may or may not help this situation. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure what's going on, so it's impossible for me to test if the changes I'm making help or not.
Please download beta 2 (same URL as beta 1) and let me know if that helps at all. I'm still looking for a volunteer that'll allow me to do a remote support session to better diagnose the issue. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
Hello Chris,
The new installer doesn't work either. You can use my laptop for a remote session, I PM you with details. |

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I am also having this problem on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. The previous version works just fine, so I have been using that.
It seems to work fine on my 32-bit Vista virtual machine (I don't have any 32-bit Win7 machines to try it on...). Perhaps the issue is limited to the 64-bit build? |

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
BatteryBar works just fine on 64-bit Windows. It's a single build that works for both x86 and x64, since it's .NET it's compiled at runtime by the OS.

RE: BatteryBar 3.5.2 beta
I've been using battery bar primarily on 64-bit windows since purchasing it; I was simply speculating that the 3.5.2 issues seem isolated to 64-bit machines. Could be a coincidence.
If you haven't gotten a chance to remote control someone's computer by next Monday, I'll be available to let you use my computer to investigate. Good luck! |
