Bar disappears after a few seconds

Bar disappears after a few seconds
I recently upgraded to ver 3.5.2. Since the upgrade the bar disappears after a few seconds. When the "hide batteryBar when the battery is fully charged" option is checked unplugging the laptop and causes the bar to reaper but disappears again after a few seconds. The power schemes do change so at least part of the app is working.

I am using Windows 7 pro 64 on an HP Elitebook 8530w

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

RE: Bar disappears after a few seconds
I also have a Hp, but a laptop running Windows 7.
My batterybar has disappeared.
if i right click on the taskbar, it is highlighted as a toolbar. If you deselect it and reeselect it, it reappears for about 30secs. Then it disappears again.
Any advise you have would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Bar disappears after a few seconds
I must also chime in on this same problem, and with a temporary solution.
I have been using BatteryBar Pro v3.5.1 (paid version) since April. It worked perfectly. When I upgraded to version 3.5.2, then it began disappearing from my toolbar even though it was checked for BatteryBar. If I unchecked it, then checked it again, it would reappear, but disappear about 20 seconds later.

So, my solution was to uninstall version 3.5.2, and install version 3.5.1. Apparently, the newer version (3.5.2) is the culprit because it (3.5.1) is now working perfectly.
No big deal using the older version, but it is indeed annoying not to have updates work as they should.

(Windows 7 Home Premium, Lenovo ThinkPad)

Thanks for listening.

RE: Bar disappears after a few seconds
I can't replicate the issue. I asked a few people by email to send me debugging logs, but I haven't received any yet.

I would appreciate it if any of you would please generate a debugging log that captures this happening at least once or more. The steps are here.

RE: Bar disappears after a few seconds
I still can't replicate it, but I made one change that may be causing the problem. Please download the update here and let me know how it goes:

The update seems to be working. I downloaded and installed it about an hour ago and it's still there. So, whatever you updated seems to have worked.
Just for my own curiosity, what was the problem?

Great program, great support (that's obvious). Thanks for both.

Did you test the release I posted two posts up?

RE: Bar disappears after a few seconds
I have the same issue. I am using win7 home premium 64bit
I see that often when resuming from hibernate, the batterybar does not appear. Then I click toolbars and I see that the batterybar is already checked. I click again on it and the bar apear for some seconds and then disapear. After restarting the OS, the bar show again and working. I prefer to use hibernate option and then the batterybar I think that is not calculating again the time, but if you restart the OS then the batterybar need some minutes to recalculate all the time and other informations. Now I am testing the beta version you have posted. If the issue will be still there, I will try to reproduce the error and send U a debug info. Regards.
