Bug: Switching batteries via hibernate mode
First of all - free 3.5.2 version of BatteryBar were used with HP2140mini netbook.
Subject.
I have 2 different batteries, one at 28Wh, the other - at 55Wh. Then "smaller" battery comes to "completely discharged" state, netbook automatically starts it's hibernate procedure and finishes it successfully. After that, i change the battery to a "bigger" one and resume netbook from hibernation. BatteryBar continues to say "28Wh" for battery capacity and nothing happens to the numbers, until this battery discharges below 28Wh... Then it starts to countdown the discharge time/percent value as if it were a 28Wh battery.
Seems like your program doesn't check for battery change event (or doesn't compare current battery params with ones saved in profile) after resuming from hibernation. No way to re-check or update battery state manually. Can you add some kind of "update battery state" button to your program?
I'm not shure a "pro" version would be more accurate in this situation...
For now, the only existed "workaround" for this problem is to reboot netbook once more. Sad Uncomfortable !

RE: Bug: Switching batteries via hibernate mode
BatteryBar not only supports the Windows system battery status change events, it specifically checks if the batteries have changed after a sleep/resume cycle and polls the battery status every 5 seconds.

In order to determine what's going on internally, I need you to follow these steps:
http://osirisdevelopment.com/wiki/Submit_a_bug_report

In the reproduce step, make sure you use the originally battery for a few minutes, manually hibernate, switch the battery, resume, then use the new battery for a few minutes. If the issue doesn't reproduce it with those steps, then you'll need to turn on logging before the automatic hiberate and switch batteries and resume.

When you submit the debug log, make sure you include your name AND email address and comments about this thread in the feedback dialog box.
