Long startup time when BatteryBar is installed & Uninstall leftovers
I have experienced long startup time on my laptop with BatteryBar installed. With BatteryBar installed, it takes about 10 seconds longer for my computer to load from the 'Welcome' Screen to my Desktop.
After I've uninstalled BatteryBar, my computer boots/startup noticeably faster. My computer have nothing installed. Only my Internet Security program (Avast!) My laptop specs: Intel Core i7 2620M CPU 2.70GHZ 8GB RAM I've also experience problems uninstalling the product. After I have uninstalled the product, I was prompted to restart. Therefore, I proceed to restart my computer. After restarting my computer, I realized that the BatteryBar entry is still in my Toolbars entry by right clicking on my taskbar > Toolbars The control panel entry was not removed as well as I can still see the BatteryBar (remove only) in my Add/Remove programs. I hope someone here can tell me how to remove these invalid 'leftovers' Version of BatteryBar v3.5.4 With that said, I want to say that BatteryBar is my favourite application for my laptop. I really hope to see the problems fixed. In fact, the first application I install on my laptop is BatteryBar, nothing else. Picture below: Dropbox |

RE: Long startup time when BatteryBar is installed & Uninstall leftovers
same here similar specs with no antivirus.
The longer startup is the .net framework loading stuff for batterybar so now real way around that unless chris switches and codes in something else |

RE: Long startup time when BatteryBar is installed & Uninstall leftovers
I've had people report the slower startup, though I haven't experienced it myself. Those that have reported it are ones that have turned off Prefetch and/or Superfetch in Windows, which caches startup files to load faster. You can try something like TweakPrefetch to check your settings and make sure Applications + Boot it set.
