Error: BatteryBar floating Toolbar has stopped working

I have been using using the free version (version is 3.1 build 60) since June 2009 on my Sony VGN-SZ750N running Vista 32x Business.

Each time I start the computer I get the same error message: "BatteryBar floating Toolbar has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Windows does not close the window ... I do so manually but no message from Windows follows.

Other than this error message everything seems to be working ok.

Any suggestions?

I would uninstall BatteryBar (you can choose not to delete your profile data) complete, reboot, and then reinstall. You can only install either the floating toolbar or the taskbar toolbar, but not both (they conflict).
