Updating BatteryBar Pro 3.3.2->3.3.3
I think it is a minor issue. I have read an announcement that a new BatteryBar version is released. "The automatically check for updates" option was on in the settings. But the program did not show that the update was available. Check for updates button also told, that I have the latest version.
So I have downloaded the BatteryBarSetup-3.3.3.exe and run it. After the reboot the program showed me that I have still version 3.3.2!
A have fixed the issue by uninstalling BatteryBar rebooting and running setup once more.

In the program directory the changelog.txt ends with version 3.1 build 60 - April 23, 2009. It would be better to update this file with new builds.

The new version has a nice feature "Estimated discharge/recharge rates for batteries that don't provide that information". But my battery controller reports a weired value (the constant value). I would like the program to estimate the discharge rate. Can I force it?

RE: Updating BatteryBar Pro 3.3.2->3.3.3
I just tested installing 3.3.2 on my machine and I got the update message for 3.3.3, so I'm not sure what happened there.

There is an issue with the installer where it restarts the toolbar during the installation even during an upgrade, which means the old version gets turned back on before it can be replaced during reboot.

The best option is for the installer to just cause explorer to restart itself, but my attempts to due that have causes error messages within Windows. Other programs like DropBox do it this way and they've managed to get it working, so I'll check it that a bit more.

As far as the new feature, it only turns on if the battery reports a 0 value for the rate. I thought about adding an option for it, but I figured if the battery was already reporting those values, why would they want less accurate ones? Still, it's not hard to add an option for it.

I always forget to update the changelog.txt. I do always update the WIKI though, so maybe I'll just add a link to the changelog online.

RE: Updating BatteryBar Pro 3.3.2->3.3.3
It would be nice to have an option to report estimated discharge rate for the batteries that report nonzero values. As well as to set the full battery capacity manually. The full capacity reported by my battery (85.4Wh) is higher then the capacity on the sticker (76Wh). But this will influence the battery wear information.

May be there should be an option for some multiplier/factor for the "capacities"?

In the codebase I have already added an option to force the discharge rate estimation. That will be in the next release.

The second feature you mentioned is already posted on http://feedback.osirisdevelopment.com. You can vote for it there.
